“Joining SmartFit has improved my life in every way — I only wish I had started sooner!”
Caroline has been attending training sessions with our trainer Erik for the last 6 months. She came to us hoping to eat healthier, look healthier, lose weight, and get in shape. After losing an amazing 25 lbs and an overall total of 21 inches, Caroline was kind enough to take the time to answer a few questions for me about our program and her time with us so far!
Not only has Caroline seen amazing results, but her dedication to the program as well as her health & fitness is both incredible and admirable. For the month of April, Caroline made the decision to commit to increasing her training to 5 days a week, every week, before she leaves on vacation this summer. Her belief in SmartFit and dedication to the program is very meaningful to us, and we are so proud of her amazing results!
When did you first join SmartFit?
Caroline: November 2015.
What do you enjoy most about the workouts?
Caroline: I feel more energetic, stronger, and healthier as a result of my training at SmartFit. I had never really attempted weight training before, and Erik made the workouts un-intimidating and enjoyable. I enjoy seeing what I’m capable of!
Is the SmartFit nutrition plan different than you’ve done before?
Caroline: Definitely. Having a nutrition plan that fit with my goals and lifestyle was extremely helpful. I can truly say that its a sustainable lifestyle now and not just a “diet”. Moreover, whenever I was feeling like my results were stalling or something wasn’t working, Erik always had a helpful suggestion to overcome the obstacle.
What has been your favourite part of working with SmartFit?
Caroline: Its a tie between my trainer, Erik, and the great results I’ve seen!
What were your goals before you had started?
Caroline: I could see age 60 on the horizon and I knew it was time to start taking care of myself. I wanted to look healthier, eat healthier, lose weight, and get in shape.
Have your goals been met and/or surpassed in your time with us?
Caroline: My goals have been surpassed. I still have a ways to go, but I could not be happier with where I am now.
When and in what ways did you first start to see results?
Caroline: I originally began to lose weight prior to joining SmartFit. I could see the number on the scale go down, but I wasn’t seeing the aesthetic changed I wanted. Once I joined, I continued the weight loss with the nutrition adjustments suggested by my trainer, and I noticed a remarkable transformation in my body’s appearance. My belly was decreasing, muscles were beginning to form, and I just looked so much healthier.
Have you experienced any positive benefits from working with SmartFit besides weight loss?
Caroline: I feel happier, more energetic, and so much healthier. My confidence levels have skyrocketed. I recently attended a function where I saw individuals that I have not seen for some time. When people tell you that you look “amazing”, how can it not put a smile on your face?
Do you have any advice for individuals considering joining us?
Caroline: Do it for you! Improving your health and fitness improves your life, and joining SmartFit has improved mine in every way. I only wish I had started sooner!
