How SmartFit Has Transformed Lives

Harrison has been working with our trainer Erik for the last 4 months. He came to us hoping to lose some weight and gain strength in his shoulders, arms, and chest.

After losing 22 lbs and 10 inches off his abdomen, Harrison took the time to answer a few questions for me about our program and his time with us so far.


 

When did you first start working with SmartFit?9232b071-e21d-4964-b1ca-601cbeca24dc

Harrison: I first started at SmartFit back in November 2015, and I came in weighing about 192lbs.

How effective do you find the workouts to be?

Harrison: I found out quickly the proper technique and posture I lacked before, really helping me fully utilize the actual workouts I was doing. Learning a bunch of new and different ways to exercise along the way has kept things exciting, challenging, and fun to do. Having a trainer with you the whole way to motivate you and encourage you and to push you to where you want to be is always a plus.

Is the SmartFit nutrition plan different than you’ve done before?

Harrison: I’ve never had a nutrition plan before, so strictly keeping to a high protein, high fat, low carb plan at first was a bit difficult. But quickly after adjusting to the plan, I found myself really utilizing what I was eating, with higher energy levels, better sleep, and naturally overall just feeling better.

What is your favourite part of working with SmartFit?

Harrison: Being able to come in and hit out a solid workout (properly and effectively) and every time leaving knowing and feeling I did just that.

What were your goals before you had started?

Harrison: Before I started the goal was to lose the beer belly and from there, develop bigger shoulders, arms, and chest.

Harrison: Within the first week I immediately noticed it in my pant size and on the scale.

Do you have any advice for individuals considering joining us?

Harrison: I’d say anyone who wants to change themselves for the better, and who need the support, advice, guidance, and motivation to do so — this is the place to go.
